Smaug the Terrible

Yay I finally finished it~! (yay and before The Desolation of Smaug comes out too!) watercolors are such a pain to work with gaaah. also crappy shot because lighting problems and no scanner big enough for this.

Smaug is roughly based off of Odahviing from Skyrim (images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__c…) because I didn’t know what movie!Smaug looked like when I started this last year. he doesn’t look too different though. lol.

And the landscape in the middle is roughly based on the cover of The History of the Hobbit by John D. Rateliff (d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/…)
